Summer Worship Series: ‘Gone Fishin’ - Exploring the Great Fishing Stories of the Bible
Many of the great gospel stores involve fishing. Jesus called fishermen to be his disciples; he preached from the fishing boats; he called his followers to “fish for all people”; he told parables about fishing. Jesus helped his disciples to fish and even cooked a fish breakfast for them. Whether you are into fishing or not, our June worship series will help us understand this gospel emphasis and promises to be enjoyable at the same time! If we can understand more about this fishing culture, we can understand more about Jesus' teachings.
